membership eligibility
KALA consists of two classes of members: Full Members and Associate Members.
Full Member
A person is qualified to become a Full Member of KALA if:
1) the person holds a current PRACTICING CERTIFICATE or is admitted to the legal profession in any state or territory of Australia;
AND
2) has made the prescribed ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION. The prescribed annual subscription is currently $20.
Any eligible person desiring full membership of KALA:
- should forward a completed APPLICATION FORM to the Secretary at koreanaustralianlawyers@gmail.com
- The annual subscription is to be deposited to:

Associate Member
A person is qualified to become an Associate Member of KALA if:
a) the person holds a current PRACTICING CERTIFICATE or is ADMITTED to the legal profession in any state or territory of Australia;
OR
b) the person is a STUDENT enrolled in a course of studies approved by any authorised body responsible for the admission of lawyers, the successful completion of which is a prerequisite to the entitlement to apply for admission to practise as a legal practitioner any state or territory of Australia.
Any eligible person desiring associate membership of KALA should:
- Forward a completed APPLICATION FORM to the Secretary at koreanaustralianlawyers@gmail.com.
