You can join KALA or renew your memership as a Full Member or an Associate Member.

Full Member

You can join or renew your membership as a Full Member if:

you are admitted to the legal profession in any state or territory of Australia, and
you make the prescribed annual subscription fee of $20.

Associate Member

You can join or renew your membership with us as an Associate Member if:

you are admitted to the legal profession in any state or territory of Australia, or
you are a student enrolled in a course of studies approved by any authorised body responsible for the admission of lawyers, the successful completion of which is a prerequisite to the entitlement to apply for admission to practise as a legal practitioner any state or territory of Australia (i.e. a law student).
